India has issued a travel advisory urging its citizens traveling to Iran or Israel to remain vigilant due to the ongoing conflicts in both countries.

The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, emphasized that the situation in the region is being closely monitored. While Iran and Israel have opened their airspace for commercial flights, uncertainty remains about the stability of the airspace amidst the ongoing conflict.

Jaiswal stated, "We advise Indian nationals to remain vigilant while traveling to these countries and be in touch with the Indian embassy."

The advisory comes in light of recent missile exchanges between Iran and Israel, with Iran launching several hundred missiles toward Israel, most of which were intercepted. Additionally, there have been escalating cross-border strikes between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah over the past six months, raising concerns about a wider regional conflict.

Hezbollah, which has built up a significant arsenal since 2006, operates with a network of tunnels and has been training with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's forces. While Hezbollah's attacks have been focused on a strip of northern Israel so far, Israel has expressed readiness to push Hezbollah back from the border, although the means to do so remain unclear.
