Abu Dhabi airport opens new city check-in service in Mussafah

Abu Dhabi: A new city check-in service has been inaugurated in Mussafah to cater to passengers traveling through the Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.
The Morafiq check-in facility, situated in Mussafah's Shabia-11 area, aims to provide a convenient check-in solution for air travelers residing in the vicinity of Mussafah. This service eliminates the need for residents to travel to distant locations for check-in, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
This initiative marks the second check-in facility introduced this year, following the launch of a similar service at Yas Mall in February.
The Morafiq check-in facility caters to passengers flying with Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Wizz Air and Egypt Air.
Residents in Mussafah now have the option to drop their bags and obtain their boarding passes closer to home, avoiding the need to commute to Yas Mall or Zayed Port for check-in services. This proximity enhances the overall travel experience by reducing travel time and eliminating the inconvenience of navigating through busy terminals.
The check-in desk operates daily from 10 am to 10 pm, providing flexibility for passengers to drop their bags at their convenience. The charges for check-in services are as follows: Dh35 per adult (passengers above 12 years), Dh25 per child (children aged 12 years and below) and Dh15 per infant (infants aged two years and below).
